For food; fur; fat; and fun, humans hunt. The literary analysis of these hunting factors is commonly non-religious being based on secular Ecocriticism. With the coinage Islamecocriticism (Islamic thought integrated into ecocritical theory), current study aims at bridging a gap in academia by illustrating input Islam concerning through criticism. three angles Islamecocritical theory: religion, literature, environmentalism are fused to introduce crucial rulings that govern relationship between hunter prey. argument not humans' whims, but it derived from heavenly wisdom whose goal benefit all creatures. development discussion, some suggestions solutions traced selected Canadian eco-poems.
